Foods delicious and lots of stuff to pick from. Lots of different sauces if u want ti mix up. White sauce and hot sauce are my favs.
Ordered today for the first time, got fries, waffle fries, lamb gyros and falafel sandwiches. There was a little too much sauce on everything, but it wasn't a huge deal. Everything was very good besides the falafel which was hard and cold, I think they were frozen and not cooked enough. Everything else was tasty and good. Will try again in the future.
I love shahs. Build your own bowl with rice, lamb or chicken, veggies and sauces. My son ordered the burger once and that was also pretty good. Overall great kinda fast food.
I love this restaurant. This was my first time at this location but he did a great job. I waited patiently for him to make my order. He was working on the call in orders first. I was a walk in for takeout. I always used to go to this chain at the halal truck on the street. I was always so pleased with them. Thanks for lovely food. I will be back
When I found out that I could get Shah's halal in Long Island AND be there in 10 minutes, you know I got excited! Usually I'd have to drive all the way to Queens to get halal so this was a great find! The parking is really convenient and the shop is a good size, not too big, and there is seating inside the restaurant as well. I purchased chicken over rice and it was just like the halal carts you find in Queens, and the best part was the variety of fresh vegetables they offer at this location! I was really happy to see I didn't just get lettuce and tomatoes with my halal, instead I opted for the bell peppers and chopped cucumbers and tomatoes. They also give you double meat for just an extra dollar and a generous amount of white sauce (a win-win situation) Now that I know that this place is so close to where I live I'm going to be going there more often!

Mike and I stopped at Shahs Halal Bellmore last Saturday and thought our meal was delicious! We shared a lamb platter with rice, salad, black beans, chick peas, hummus, and green and white sauce for 6.99USD. It was a whole lot of yumminess for so little money! But what the heck is Halal? Halal is Arabic for permissible. According to Urban Dictionary, "Halal meat is the meat of an animal or a bird that was slaughtered according to Islamic teachings. Islamic slaughter involves many things to ensure humane treatment of the animal." I can get on board with that. The restaurant was clean, the servers were friendly and that green sauce was out of this world!
Great middle eastern spot near the corner of Merrick road and Bedford Ave. It's in a shopping center with plenty of parking and entrances/exits making it a convenient location. The service is quick. I was in and out within 3 minutes. It's a mix between the food carts and the fast casual restaurants which have the ingredients already prepared. I had lamb over rice with their hot sauce. I think the hot sauce is a mild harissa which is more flavorful in my opinion. They have more toppings than most food carts including options such as black beans, chickpeas, sautéed vegetables, and more.
